If you don’t have the time to make a pizza dough, simply arrange your chosen topping on any one of these speedy alternative bases: split English muffins, pita-bread rounds, mountain bread, tortillas or even a store-bought pizza base. Bake in the usual way and enjoy! If you do have time to make pizza dough, roll the dough as thinly as possible. With a thin base, you really taste the true quality of the crust – there’s also a lovely crunchy, crispness of texture that thin bases add to your pizza-eating experience. Three is often the perfect number when it comes to pizza toppings. Quality, not quantity, is the best motto to adopt as a pizza topping is rarely improved by piling on too many extras. Enjoy!
